About North America Voice Dialogue

NAVD is an institute dedicated to the development of consciousness using the Voice Dialogue/Aware Ego process as its guiding principle. Originated by psychologists Hal and Sidra Stone, PhD, Voice Dialogue rests on the Psychology of Selves, an understanding of personal growth and psychological development connecting with unconscious processes and depth expressions of them.

NAVD’s staff brings a unique blend of training and orientations:

She and her husband, Jonah, have created a contemplative-selves practice called "Sitting with Selves".

He has a background in Buddhist meditation, Integral philosophy, song writing, computer graphics and web design.  As a Voice Dialogue facilitator, Jonah adds a practical dimension to the institute’s goal of reaching a variety of populations, including the performing artists and the committed meditator.

While offering general classes, group and individual work in Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of Selves, NAVD also offers a unique blend of workshops and programs geared toward specific interest groups. Applying the principles of the Aware Ego Process, bodywork, and work with dreams and meditation, we provide week-long, weekend and individual opportunities for growth and healing to a variety of special interests.
